The Tibetan Infinity Knot is an ancient symbol representing the interweaving of the Spiritual path.
It has many interpretations:
The intertwining of wisdom and compassion.
The interplay of opposing forces in the dualistic world of manifestation, leading to ultimate harmony in the universe.
The endless knot symbolizing the idea of Samsara (endless cycle of birth and rebirth).
I first saw the Infinity Knot as I was climbing up to Mt. Everest. It covered the doors of all the homes I stayed in as I made my way to the base camp, climbing over multiple mountains for weeks on end. It was a symbol of compassion, and a peaceful state of mind.
There is a small Ganesh on the right shoulder, because Ganesh has always got your back.
