Mindfulness is the presence of heart. It's the new buzzword! Though it has its roots in Buddhist meditation, a secular practice of mindfulness has entered the American mainstream in recent years. My long-time friend and teacher, Desiree Rumbaugh, asked us to collaborate on a mindfulness design.
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment.
After 30 plus tries, we nailed it. The word "Mindfulness" is sitting in a Japanese Enso. The Enso is a hand drawn calligraphy symbol, drawn with one brush stroke and used to inspire mindfulness.
The mainstreaming of mindfulness is, in part, through the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, and is his Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program, which he launched at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979. It is people like Desiree, her husband Andrew Rivin, and Deepak Chopra who are helping raise the vibration of the planet. This hoodie is a great reminder that we can raise our consciousness and look good doing it.
Our Tri Blend Pullover Hoodie (50% Poly, 25% Cotton, 25% Rayon) features a front kangaroo pocket and raglan sleeves. It runs small and is available in three sizes: X-Small, Small and Medium.
Our products are fitted, vibrant, and hand printed using the world's most eco-friendly printing processes. Unlike most of our competitors, we do our own sublimation printing, designing, shipping, and customer service in our Eco-dome, located in Encinitas, CA.
